Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

An aircraft carrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the jet's front window, per an official announcement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson commented in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to Brussels at the time.

This incident isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft ferrying a senior official has encountered equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was forced to return to the US capital after experiencing a technical issue.
